First and foremost, thank you for taking a moment to explore IlluminAlchemy. Your curiosity means more than you know. The work I’m stepping into now has been quietly unfolding for over a decade, and I’m deeply honored to begin this next chapter with you.

My name is Billie Marie, and I am a certified functional health coach with a focused specialization in inflammation. Inflammation is a broad and complex process that touches nearly every system of the body, but my work centers on inflammation driven by gut dysbiosis—particularly as it influences hormonal balance and, ultimately, skin health.

      This focus is deeply personal. Due to long-standing hormonal imbalance, I have struggled with acne since my teenage years, leaving my skin uneven and blemished well into adulthood. That ongoing challenge led me to create LYONYS Beauty Collection and Mineral29 Organic—clean skincare and mineral makeup lines designed to nourish the skin rather than strip it. Those formulas were created with care, intention, and integrity, and they supported healthy, resilient skin through many seasons of my life, including the early transitions into more mature skin.

      However, as I moved deeper into perimenopause, something became increasingly clear: even the smallest, seemingly inconsequential lifestyle choices could trigger inflammation. Foods and beverages marketed as “gut healthy”—such as certain pre- or probiotic sodas—were actually aggravating an underlying imbalance, quietly disrupting my gut environment and influencing my hormonal response. Although I had already committed to clean eating and had learned to listen closely to my body’s signals, inflammation continued to surface.

      That’s when my work truly shifted—from managing symptoms to investigating root causes.

      I realized that no matter how thoughtfully crafted a skincare formula might be, it could not replace the work of supporting the body internally. I no longer wanted to invest in more products or new formulations. I wanted to understand how to nurture the source of my glow—one that could carry me confidently through my 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond.

      That realization became the foundation of IlluminAlchemy.

      IlluminAlchemy is rooted in the belief that when we address internal systems—gut health, metabolic balance, inflammation, and lifestyle patterns—beauty becomes a natural expression rather than a constant pursuit. My goal is to help you recognize the quiet signals your body offers and map a sustainable, realistic path of adjustments that support lasting vitality and radiance from the inside out.

      In the coming seasons, I will be offering functional beauty packages designed to support this work more deeply. I will also be sharing exercises, recipes, and skin-focused educational content through my blog/vlog and Instagram, documenting how I personally maintain balance and resilience as I transition from perimenopause into menopause.
